Earthy stoneware body with carved Nikuzushi (二崩し) diamond weave pattern in a dark matte green, speckled glaze. The pieces stands on four pointed feet, creating four corners that extend from bottom to just below the opening at the top. The top and opening of the vase remains circular. Exposed red stoneware clay body on the inside, bottom, and top. Due to the artisanal process, slight variations in color and finish add to its charm and authenticity.
